Celebrating 50 years of the Mini Copper ( The Final Hurrah )

The picture that I choose that capture me is the small unique car Mini Cooper. The Mini Cooper has been one of the small and attractive cars to see on the road. The picture speaks to me from the size and attractiveness on the road. Also it made me think having that car and driving around the city, it would b different from other car. Although I never had a Mini Copper, I always wanted a Mini Cooper. In my life when I grow up, I really want a Mini Cooper. The Mini Cooper Company has been successfully making the best of small car in 50 years. Also it inspires me from the person that made the first sketch of the Mini Cooper in napkin. The person that drew is Issigonis, he drew at a napkin in Switzerland. In the old times, the Mini Cooper looks the same, but now Mini Cooper has different kind of styles. Whenever I see a Mini Cooper, it always looks interesting and different. It also stands out from the other car, because the color of it is very different. When I saw a Mini Cooper on the road, it made me feels that I want to go in the car and go everywhere. Even though I don’t have a Mini Copper or never ride one, I always wanted one and when I’m older I want a Mini Cooper.

How did the Dinka culture people met with the American culture?

The Dinka culture has been forced migration for safety. They are located in the southern Sudan. They were walking from the northern part of Sudan, then through Ethiopia, which was lot of walking. They said that the journey was like hell. They had lots of trouble of getting through Ethiopia. They were forced to live their village, because of the assault that was happening at their village. They walk for more than a lot with a group of children ages 5 and above. They haven’s seen their parent for 11 years. When they were walking, they were dodging bullet, animals, and suffering of thirst and hunger. Then they end at refugee of Kenya. When they were at Kenya they were safe from the assault and more luck came to them. For living years at the refugee camp at Kenya. Then luck came to them, they were steeped migrating to U.S. The Dinka cultures are called the lost boys in the U.S. They were separated through different state in the U.S. one of the boys that were enjoying at the U.S. was Peter and Santino. They had to deal with new place, community, language, and other important things. In America they got a free rent for the first four month, and then they had to earned money and find a good work to do. Also they looked and keep contact with each other, when they are living at different places. Some of them likes to be clean and “clean environment always improves your live.” When they are clean, they felt like they are a meaningful person. When they were in America, they felt like they were different from other people. They were different, because in America the black people are a bit brown and the lost boy people were truly very black. They also went to school and when they were there, people respect them. They also tryout for a sport teams, even though they didn’t make the tryout. They also had to live by themselves and earned money and sometimes when they earned the money, it’s not enough. People in America respect them and don’t think of them as a bad person. Sometimes the lost boys’ people aren’t playing fair and nice to people, but they learning how to live by themselves and respect other people. They are also still a little confused on how things work, for example when they had to pay for the rent and also when they got a ticket for driving a car. It was an easy place for them live, but hard to find the money, but they are enjoying it. They also missed their parent in Sudan.

The culture of the lost boys was not what they had expected. There were many things that the lost boys have seen. One thing that they see is how black were they compared though the other black people in America. In America the dark people were not very dark as the lost boys. When they are playing sports with the American people, the lost boy play rude and not respecting, but they are learning how things work. In America it was kind of easy to live there, because it’s not hard as living in Africa. One they have to deal is between work and school. They are living on their own and they have to work, in order to get the money. They deal with those problems everyday and they are happy doing it. At school they are happy when they make new friends and they talk to them every time, so they don’t feel lonely. Even though the languages are hard to speak, they tried to speak. They deal with the problems just by trying it and even though they failed, they try.

The Cliff.......

Once in my life I never was so scared until now. I never being worried or thinking about it and now I’m scared that it’s following me everywhere I go. I was living in a big beautiful and historical complex in the top of a small mountain. I was living in a big house with two stories and a view of the ocean and a dark forest going down the mountain. From the view of the dark forest, it made me think that where I live is haunted by ghost. At there I met some of my old friend and I was glad to see them. Since I just arrived at my new place to live, my friends show me around the complex and actually told me the history of the complex. When they told the history, it creep me out, because the place is where people are killed from the past life in my life I never though that I’m actually scared of something. Usually I’m not scare of anything, until now it happens. Once upon a time I was terrified to go see what’s behind me. I was also scared to go to the bathroom, because whenever I see a mirror I was imagining in my mind that there is a ghost just standing and looking at the person in the bathroom. I imagined the ghost liked it was white and strapped around. Also the ghost jump everywhere they go, instead of walking. The face of the white ghost was a skeleton face and only a little skin was on them and blood flowing to their eyes, nose, and more blood coming out from the mouth. When I imagine it in my head, it made me see the ghost after I blink my eye

One day at a peaceful night, I was no thinking about any scary thing, especially ghost. Then it was not really a peaceful night, because my friend came to my house and asks me if I can ride my bikes at the dark and pitch black night. So we went to the physical education area and that’s probably the scariest place in the complex. As we walk on the side of a small cliff, I actually saw two ghosts. Then we stop walking and look carefully at the bottom of the cliff. As I magnify down to the cliff, I saw a one was like little boy walking around the place. The other one was actually real and it was staring at me through my eyes. Also my eyes were moving right and left, the ghost follows my eyes. The ghost was white and wrapped around toilet paper and they are wrapped, because they have no body. It was one night of scariness and quietness. It was so quiet that at an instant my friend left me alone in the quietness and scariness. When they left I felt so scared that the going directly in front of eyes as a blink. In the dark there hardly no sound, there were only quietness. Then the ghost went on moving to a corner going away from the human, while I was freak out and when running out physician education area and on my bike. Then I started to pedal as fast as I can and went on finding my friend, which they left alone with the ghost. When I found my friends, they were laughing hard, because they left alone. It was one of my terrifying and frightening nights. Then they went on telling me the stories of the history of the complex. Years ago war was happening around the world and at that complex; it was a war between china and some other countries. At that time many people were killed and once they were killed, they weren’t buried to the ground. That stories freak me out. I thought to myself that if they are not buried, then they’re spirit are still here and if they are here they could be behind us or maybe following us everywhere we go. Thereupon I went home and when I got home I was thinking that there is a ghost in my house. Once in the morning my patio door went opening by itself, even though the wind is not strong and it kept opening for more than four times. I was always curious when I see a small cliff, because it made me think that I saw another ghost somewhere down the cliff. My friend said to me that if you passed gas at the middle of the night, you will attract ghost and if you don’t believe me there’s probably a ghost behind you right know!
